TOYOTA
Rebuilt & Remanufactured Toyota ECUs

We sell and service many engine computers for Toyota vehicles, covering most every model from the old Celica and Toyota Truck models of the early ‘90s up to around 2012, including Camry, Highlander, Land Cruiser, Tundra and more.
These DENSO-made units experience different types of failures according to the year range, causing a wide range of issues.
Most late ‘90s to 2000s Toyota ECUs, such as the RAV4 and Solara, come in for repair for hard shifting issues, knock sensor issues, misfires, and no start/no communication, among many other problems. This is caused by the decaying of the metals in aging surface mount components. We replace the parts that are responsible for these symptoms, restoring full function of the ECU, and further replace some of the components that have not failed yet as a preventive measure to ensure that the ECU lives a long life.
Electrolytic capacitor damage is very common in early ‘90s units, such as older Camry and Tacoma models. As the original factory capacitors age, they start leaking an oily fluid that eventually corrodes the copper lines of the printed circuit board, as well as degrading and ruining the metals of any components that become saturated in the acidic chemical.
Repairability will depend on the degree of the damage, but we have much experience with these. After a unit has been properly overhauled and the original capacitors replaced, the capacitor problem will not return.
